Institutional Access

Argumentation.io offers institutional access for colleges, universities, schools, and other organizations. An arrangement can provide access to everyone at an institution or to an agreed-upon number of users.

Institutional access includes Argumentation.io’s saving, sharing, exporting, collaboration, educational, and accessibility features and support.

Because institutional needs vary, access arrangements are developed individually. To discuss institutional access, email argumentationcompany@gmail.com.

Ways institutions can provide access

Argumentation.io offers several ways to provide institutional access. The two principal options are single sign-on and redemption codes.

Single sign-on

With single sign-on (SSO), eligible users access Argumentation.io through their institution’s authentication system.

Institutional information-technology staff should generally be included early in the setup process.

Redemption codes

Argumentation.io can provide an institution with an agreed-upon number of redemption codes. A designated person at the institution distributes the codes and redemption instructions to students or other users.

Each user creates an Argumentation.io account and redeems a code through Main Menu. See Subscribe or Redeem a Code for instructions.

Instructor features

Institutional arrangements can include the requested number of instructor redemption codes. After redeeming an instructor code, an instructor can create and manage classes, questions, question banks, quizzes, and assignments, and can grade student work and provide feedback.

Institutional access alone does not automatically enable these instructor features. Instructors must redeem the instructor codes supplied as part of their institution’s arrangement.
